5 Easy Tactics for Guilt-Free Self-Care 🙌🏽

Let’s chat about that elusive unicorn 🦄 called ‘self-care’.


Ever feel like taking a moment for yourself will put you on the "naughty" list?

(I'm imagining Buddy the Elf right now, but that's a "me problem" 😂)

That mom guilt? Oh, I get it.

But here’s the truth: your well-being isn’t just for you.

It’s a radiant glow that touches everyone around you - especially those kiddos.




So let's talk about how you can make self-care an easily accomplished daily occurrence (AND let's make it guilt-free):


1. Start with Affirmation: As you rise, remind yourself, “God’s mercies are new every morning.” Today’s a fresh start, and God blesses you each day.


2. Guilt-Free Time Out: Carve out a 10-minute “guilt-free zone”. Whether it’s reading a mystery, sipping tea, or a quick stretch – do it sans guilt.


3. Emotional Pit Stop: Mid-day, take a 5-min emotional inventory. Feel and release. Embrace the good, acknowledge the bad, and trust that God is with you each step of the way.


4. Celebrate Daily Mercies: Found a quiet moment? Enjoyed a good meal? Celebrate these as God’s grace sprinkled throughout your day.
