Yesterday my daughter started screaming.


Immediately my “mom radar” went off, and I ran to investigate.


She was all wound up about a tiny ant on the floor.


Crisis averted.

And while sometimes our “enemy” is something physical (like the ant that dared infringe on our personal space), often we see our emotions as a dangerous enemy too.


But let me reassure you, emotions are not something to be afraid of or to hide away.
